University of Newcastle
  Fine Art Degree Show 2001

An exhibition studying the line between turning a blind eye and turning the other cheek. There are two halves to this show: the visual work, and the novel ('Wallpaper Fortress'). The two are highly interwined, but each canalso stand alone. However, the gaze of the visual work, as it is placed together, is evasive. The idea is that the viewer is made an accessory after the fact ...

'Wallpaper Fortress' is on sale at the show for the duration.
