I am fascinated by our strange relationship with the natural world. We romanticise it, plunder it, try to control it and attempt to lose control within it. Drawing up boundaries dividing the urban from the wild, we fill our homes with natural materials and their simulacra. My current work explores the idea of living with trees, touching on aspects of design, domesticity, harvesting and industry through installations and interventions in private areas and recreational grounds. Both strange and seductive, these works playfully challenge our familiar relationship with trees.
